Aunt Millie's Chicken Vegetable Soup certainly will hit the spot on a any day. Loaded with vegetables, shell pasta and tons of flavour.
Each package makes approximately 12 cups of delicious soup.
Aunt Millie's Chicken Noodle Soup should not be frozen. The pasta noodles do not freeze well.
You will need: 9 cups of water and optionally 1 to 2 pounds of cooked chicken (left over roast chicken works well).
Directions: Separate pasta from package and set aside. Bring water to a boil. Add the rest of the packet ingredients and chicken. Cover and simmer over a medium-low heat for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes add pasta and continue to cook for another 15 minutes. Enjoy.
Ingredients: Freeze dried peas, Freeze dried corn, Dehydrated vegetables (onion, celery, carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, red pepper, green peppers, garlic, leeks), Red split lentils, Nutritional yeast (dried yeast, niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamin hydrochloride, riboflavin, folic acid, cyanocobalamin (B12 produced by natural fermentation), Gluten-free chicken bouillon (corn starch, dextrose, glucose solids, spice extractives and spice, chicken fat, onion powder, salt, disodium guanylate, disodium inosinate, silicon dioxide), Turmeric, Sugar, Paprika, Thyme, Sage, Parsley, Egg noodles (durum wheat, eggs).
